Our Story

Rias Jaipur was born in November 2018 from the shared vision of Arshia and Avishek — two designers bound by their love for Indian crafts and sustainable design.

Avishek, a textile designer from West Bengal and a NIFT Chennai graduate, grew up around looms, learning the language of threads and craft from his family of gamcha weavers. Arshia, an accessory designer from Rajasthan, also a NIFT graduate, brings her deep-rooted connection to design, color, and culture.

Together, they began Rias Jaipur — not just as a label, but as an initiative to keep handmade traditions of india alive.

Crafted from handspun and handwoven textiles using traditional techniques practiced by artisans across India, RIAS JAIPUR celebrates Indian heritage while giving it a modern twist and innovation — an effortless blend of craft and contemporary design.

At Rias Jaipur, sustainability is not just a practice — it’s our philosophy. To us, true sustainability means creating and evolving without depleting resources for future generations.

We believe in working with crafts that have lived through centuries and deserve to live for many more. Our aim is to honour traditional techniques while infusing them with modern design and innovation — a fusion of generational knowledge and contemporary aesthetics. Evolution is essential, but the roots must remain the same.

As a circular, craft-driven label, we focus on low-impact production and the use of renewable resources, ensuring every piece contributes to a more responsible and mindful world.
